STUDIO OWNER AND INSTRUCTOR

Growing up as a competitive dancer, Christina honed her skills and leadership abilities and pursued higher education at Arizona State University, where she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Dance and Communication. During her time at ASU, she showcased her talent as a member of the ASU Dance Team, cheering at various sports events and competing nationally. Her dedication and hard work culminated in a remarkable achievement, with her team securing 5th place in the nation during her senior year.

​

In 2015, she took on the position of Head Coach of the Crescenta Valley High-school Pep-Squad where she would oversea 120 student a year on 5 different teams. She passionately gave this coaching position her all for 8 years before she felt it was time to focus solely on operating The Vault Dance Studio.

 

At the same time she started at CVHS, in 2015, she embarked on a new chapter of her career by founding the Vault Dance Studio in Pasadena, California. Since its inception, the studio has been a beacon for aspiring dancers in the Greater Los Angeles area, attracting hundreds of students eager to learn from her expertise. Under her guidance, her team has achieved numerous victories at both regional and national competitions, solidifying her reputation as a skilled instructor and mentor.

In 2022, she relocated the studio to Montrose, California, further expanding its reach and impact within the community. Despite her many accomplishments, her greatest joy lies in teaching and inspiring young minds, nurturing a new generation of dancers who share her love for the art form. With her unwavering passion and dedication, she continues to make a profound impact on the lives of her students, shaping the future of dance one step at a time.

CHRISTINA BIRCHER
SUSIE FIORETTI

Director of Children’s Ballet and Instructor

       Susie’s academic studies include child development and child psychology.  She holds certification in Pilates, Yoga, and Children’s Yoga.

       Susie began her teaching career in New York under the direction of famed Joffrey Robert Blankshine.  She studied jazz with Frank Hatcheff and toured Europe with various Jazz companies.  She represented Nike in industrials and worked teaching dance in public school outreach programs.  

       Susie taught Ballet, Creative Movement, and Yoga at Le Studio in Los Angeles for 20 years where she was the Director of Children’s Division.  She choreographed and directed a yearly Nutcracker and Spring Recital.  Susie also taught at Sue B. Dance in Altadena for 16 years teaching Ballet and Creative Movement.  She choreographed numerous Christmas and Spring Recitals.  She also currently works at Burbank Athletic Club as a Yoga teacher.

JACOB MAGANA

Instructor and Competition Choreographer

       Jacob Magana, has trained in jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, acro, and lyrical.  Jacob originally started as a cheerleader at Crescenta Valley High School and continued into his freshman year of college. Cheer has helped him gain the skills to interact and teach others, as well as gain stable knowledge of partnering skills and tumbling skill.   Shortly after graduating from Crescenta Valley High School, Jacob joined the Le Studio Competition Dance Team where he trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre.

​

       While competing with Le Studio Jacob received various scholarship’s and awards including a few National Titles.  Jacob continued training and expanded his dance vocabulary by joining the Glendale Community College Dance Department, under the direction of Dora Krannig and Victor Robles.  His talent and passion for dance had allowed him to represent the GCC Dance Department by performing at various events. While getting his attending GCC, Jacob taught and choreographed for Athletic Artist Training Center from 2012-2014.  

       

Jacob danced with Hart Pulse Dance Company for 2 seasons, under the direction of Amanda Hart.  He also is starting his first season with Donna Sternberg & Dancers, a modern dance company directed by Donna Sternberg.

 

Now Jacob teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Acro, Technique, Hip-Hop, and Choreographs for the Competition Team at the Vault Dance Studio.

SINEAD MARTIN

Instructor and Competition Choreographer

       Sinead is a Vault Alumni and we are so glad to have trained her from 2016-2020. Sinead graduated from Crescenta Valley High School where she was a 4 year member of the Varsity Song Team.  Sinead was the captain of her team her senior year.  

​

Sinead has danced competitively for 14 years.  She has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Technique, and Pointe and is eager to work with students of all ages!

CARLY CLOVE

Instructor and Competition Choreographer

​

Mrs. Carly has built her life around the art of dance. As a young performer she recieved many top accalades and performance opportunities. She danced at charity events, dance competitions, NBA& WNBA halftime shows, worked with stars like Ricki Martin, and in commercials for brands like Pepsi Cola. Started her teaching carreer at just 15 offering private lessons and collaborating Musical Theater shows. By the time she was 18, Carly was already known for her energetic teaching style and positive attitude.

​

As an adult she was the Lead Coach in Kathy Dagget's  Movement Education Tumbling &Sports preschool program. She taught in the La Crescenta and La Cañada Flintridge area,

as well as helping the company add Aria Montessori in Pasadena.

Soon,she started coaching cheer at Maranatha High School. Later, became Head Pep Squad Coach/Choreographer at La Cañada High School. 

​

For the next seven years Carly innovated a new dance program at Valley Vista Preschool, created new Kinder Musical Theater classes, was Preschool Dance Director at RDC, and was awarded "Best Dance Teacher in Glendale" by Glendale Newspress.   

​

Carly has won numerous choregraphy awards for her competitive dancers. She has educated students and staff across the country. She's lead dozens of dance teacher and student workshops at studios across California and Illinois. Mrs. Carly has absolutely unmatched energy in the classroom. She keeps you "on your toes" and "Dancing Through Life."

BROOKE BELL

Instructor and Competition Choreographer

Brooke Bell is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Vault Danced alum. Her experience at Vault Dance Studio has refined Brooke's technical abilities and inspired a commitment to fostering a supportive and motivating environment for all students.


Brooke is also a proud owner of a local fitness studio in Montrose, where she continues to share her love for movement and music with the community. She is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. This unique combination allows Brooke to incorporate elements of fitness into dance classes, ensuring students build strength, flexibility, and endurance while enjoying the art of movement.

 

Through personalized instruction and a focus on individual growth, Brooke strives to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to achieve their dance goals and discover the joy of movement. She can't wait to dance with you!

DAN CASTIGLIONE

Guest Instructor and Competition Choreographer

 

Originally from New Jersey, Dan Castiglione is a professional dancer who is now based out of Los Angeles. He is 25 years old and signed to Bloc talent agency. His professional credits include films like “The Intern”, “Popstar: Never Stop never Stopping” and “Isn’t it Romantic” as well as TV shows including “The Tick” , “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Barry”. His most recent work includes “West Side Story” at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater where he was the Male swing, Dance captain and fight captain.  Earning a bachelors degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Music Technology, Dan continues to explore all art forms.
